David Meister – 2012 Collection at the FDG’s Fashion Extravaganza

On June 9, 2012, I had the pleasure of attending The Fashion Extravaganza event at the St Regis One Monarch Beach Resort in Dana Point, California. The event was absolutely amazing: beautiful people, gorgeous decorations, and of course, beautiful clothing.

Famed designer, David Meister, showcased his inspiring and jaw-dropping collection at the show. Known as being one of the most respected figures in American fashion design, Meister’s gowns are flawless and body conscious, making them perfect for any woman and shape. He has dressed some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry, and appeared in many magazines and on countless television shows.

At the show, he showcased his latest collection complete with an array of beautiful gowns. The fit, the hues, and the attention to detail to these dresses just made them that much better. With an off the shoulder purple number that was cinched at the waist, a cream colored stunner that was embroidered, and a one-shoulder fiery red gown that was stunning to say the least, his collection definitely stole the show. My favorite was a scoop neck figure hugging dress that was cream colored with a lace overlay- the fit, the color, and the simplicity of it was everything you would want in a staple piece- every woman should have something like this in her closet. In addition, a long sleeved v-neck black and crème dress was another stunning addition. With a short hemline and a tight fit, it was flattering but still left something to the imagination.

All in all, this show was wonderful. The models were gorgeous in simple makeup and pulled back hair and the beautiful jewelry only added to the appeal (provided by Glamarella Junk).The diamond drop earrings that most of the models wore hit their shoulder in the perfect spot, and oozed sexiness while also looking absolutely glamorous.
