California Footwear Company, provider of high-quality comfort and wellness footwear, designed with the California good life in mind, has unveiled its spring 2013 line of cork and EVA sandals. The new brightly-colored sandals are built on California Footwear’s renowned ergonomic footbed and feature high-quality leathers and textiles as well as stylish uppers.

Available to consumers in March 2013, the new line is fashion forward but not at the expense of comfort and wellness. All of the sandals’ footbeds are shaped like a foot rather than an arrow, allowing room for feet and toes to function as they should. The wave-inspired midsole and deep heel cups provide a neutral plane to the sandal, eliminating an elevated heel which in turn benefits posture. There is also no need for a break-in period. The sandals are likened to going barefoot, but with better arch support.

“We are very excited to introduce the 2013 line,” said Donita Dennis, co-owner, California Footwear Company. “By bringing top-tier designs, leathers and buckles to the sandals, we have created a fashion-forward look combined with all of the health and wellness benefits that come from our cutting-edge, ergonomic footbed and midsole. We believe this line of footwear offers something for every occasion – whether it be work, play or just everyday life.”

The line is also environmentally-friendly, with the cork products coming directly from renewable components. Each pair of sandals is designed to hold up under weather, travel and every-day use. Pricing for the new line begins at $59.95 for the EVA styles and ranges up to $99.95 for the cork sandals. All of the sandals come in a variety of bold, bright colors and bear the names of California hot spots including Santa Monica, Petaluma and Coronado. Women’s and men’s styles are both available.
