Slim and slouchy shapes comprised the latest collection by BCBG. Heavy Middle Eastern influence was present, and the thigh-high leather spats put a cool and modern twist on such traditional garments. Long layers over longer layers added a touch of luxury to the abstract textures and patterns. BCBG successfully utilized an extensive color palette, including burgundy, indigo, beige, black, and white. Side slits brought a sense of feminine sensuality, exuding a distinctly lighthearted attitude throughout the show.

Drums and chimes launched Sergio Davila’s edgy collection, inspired by dark and historical cities of Peru. Leather, wool, and organic cotton such as alpaca and pima comprised his men and women’s wear, in mostly a black, white, and red color palette. A white cotton shirt with a Peruvian dog print and cranberry zig zag-patterned knitted leggings were strikingly refreshing and a perfect balance to the hard, punk pieces.

A stylishly eclectic blend of eastern elegance was seen during the Concept Korea show. In keeping with the “Rhythm of Korea” theme, modernly structured silhouettes combined with traditional Korean patterns and design work created a mesh of Eastern and Western culture that astounded the viewers. This collaboration of KYE, Choiboko, Cres. E Dim, Lie Sang Bong, and Son Jung Wan produced contrasting colors and patterns that made Concept Korea a standout show.
