ism mode Fall ’13 Fashion Show The Los Angeles Fashion - 365hangers March 20, 2013 Designers, FASHION, Runway 1 Comment The LA Fashion Council held their series of fashion shows last week, featuring five designers over two days. We were lucky enough to catch ism mode, a German-moved-to-LA brand, in action. ism mode was a beacon of soft knits, striped trousers and simple color combinations that when thrown together, produced a delicate vibe with a hint of edge. Models carefully managed their way up and down a wooden stair runway in heels nearly too high to manage. Of the many looks, from cute collared shirts to handkerchief bottom dresses to two toned skirts, five stood out in the haze of blues and grays. I love this flannel dress. It’s so simple, like you just grabbed your boyfriend’s shirt…but not in a sloppy way. I can’t get enough of these striped trousers. They are the perfect colors paired together with the perfect elongating pattern to make your legs look like they go for miles. The best part about this shirt is the tails. With a two toned thick hem lining the tails, it’s a unique feminine take on a classic male look. This two toned skirt is simple in a why-didn’t-I-think-of-that sort of way. The subtle stripes make it perfect. The little peter pan collar on this top is perfect. It’s subtle, cute and everything a collar like this should be.
