Vivacious and classic looks continued at the breathtakingly beautiful Vibiana in the heart of downtown Los Angeles during Style Fashion Week. Set amongst 35,000 square feet of magnificent architecture, Style Fashion Week presented fashion lovers with collections from some of Los Angeles’ finest designers.

Although the majority of fashion shows are geared toward women, revelers on the second evening of Style Fashion Week, were treated to the highly-stylized menswear of Civil Society, who presented their Fall/Winter 2013 Collection.

Civil Society was founded in 2007 by designer Brad Schwartz. He created this exclusive brand by meshing American trends and European design and fit – a risky venture that has proven to be highly successful. Through superior fits and finely-tuned craftsmanship, Civil Society uses today’s avant-garde trim and textiles to add cutting-edge detail to everyday menswear. Brad Schwartz cites, “Our main purpose is to make quality clothing that defies everyday fashion trends and explores the possibilities of imagination and being different. We create clothing perfect for independent people and thinkers who follow their own unique path in life and help them express their individuality.”

Civil Society’s latest collection showcased sleek urbanwear infused with vintage style. Models rocked the runway sporting slim-fit jeans paired with, cotton and woven shirts with bow ties and skinny ties serving as the perfect accents. Precisely-tailored, and some military inspired outerwear such as blazers, moto jackets with diagonal zippers, and stylish hoodies complimented the looks and added a dynamic edge. Each look fit to a tee – sex appeal was not compromised and definitely shone through! Bold plaids, reds, yellows, and rich, royal blues stood out and blended well with the classic blacks and greys also used in the collection. I can’t forget to mention the essential accessories that highlighted these ensembles. Combat boots, chunky scarves, and cool shades made these sharp looks a must have in every man’s closet. This fashionable and dashing collection is the development of refined blends of upscale, tailored attire infused with contemporary silhouettes. All looks blended handsomely to create the ultimate, fresh offering for today’s fashion conscious gentlemen.
