Festival Fashion: Coachella 2013

Performances by the Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Lumineers, and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs– had everyone in the Coachella mood long before festival season. But now Coachella has come and gone and all that remains is a lifetime of memories and some photos to remember it by.

The Coachella weekend brought festival fashion that had photographers scouting the grounds for the most impeccable outfits donned by the show goers. From crop tops to maxi skirts, the festival fashion was a celebration of warm weather. Celebrities such as Kate Bosworth, Katy Perry and Diane Kruger came dressed to impress and showed the crowd how Coachella fashion is done.

Kate Bosworth sported an all-white lace outfit which was not only spot-on for spring’s white-on-white trend, but was also appropriate for the warm festival weather. Although her outfit already looked spring-ready, it was her brown bag and boots which took this outfit to a whole new festive level. Simple, effortless, and trendy, Kate Bosworth easily made it to the best-dressed list of this event.

Katy Perry looked stunning and festive in a bikini-top-and-skirt get-up at the Lacoste L!VE Coachella party. Not only did she show off her bold and quirky style through her outfit, but she also showed her feminine curves. To top off her already Coachella-perfect outfit, she donned dangling earrings which added a Bohemian touch to her look. Katy was the epitome of Coachella chic.

Diane Kruger was casual chic at the H&M Loves Music Coachella party. Her band tee screamed festive and laid-back while her Aztec print shorts gave her look a tribal vibe. The knee-high boots she sported definitely made a statement and to top it all off was a wide-brimmed hat perfect for the sun’s heat. Diane nailed the festive look with this outfit.

rita ora

Rita Ora rocked the pastel palette at Coachella. Her total pastel look showed off her personal style: trendy and outlandish. Rita knew how to attract attention with her fun and very covetable tee. Her lavender maxi also added a Bohemian touch to this outfit. It was springtime fashion brought to Coachella by the one and only Rita.

annasophia robb

AnnaSophia Robb was floral and trendy at the Lacoste L!VE pool party. Her ensemble took a Bohemian spin on spring’s stripe trend. She looked festive and laid-back in a colourful maxi and white converse. The winning touch? Her floral sunglasses! It would seem Carrie Bradshaw has influenced AnnaSophia’s wardrobe –and for the better.

whitney port

Whitney Port kept it simple in a cool  minty ensemble. Her mini dress definitely cooled down the heat at Coachella and showed her feminine curves. Her bag, which was stylishly contrasting her mint dress, was the perfect touch to her look. With her chic and simple attire, Whitney was a refreshing sight to see amongst the heavily accessorized show goers.

leigh lezark

Leigh Lezark looked absolutely dashing at The Guess Hotel pool party. Her get-up was crop top fashion done right. Her printed cut-offs made a spring statement paired with her bright white look. Her sunglasses also added a hint of retro to her look. Leigh’s ensemble, as a whole, flaunted her toned figure. It’s no wonder Leigh poses with such confidence in this shot.
