Even though it’s still a little frosty in parts of the US of A, here at My Style Genie we say peel off the layers and start stepping into this season’s amazing array of fashion styles and trends. Bold stripes, lush florals and hipster crochet. But just like every season that ushers in the “it” items and the must-have looks, it’s so important to Know what looks good on your awesome body because we all come in lots of different shapes and sizes. Tall and curvy, petit and pear-shaped and everything in between. So check-out our style tips on how to make this spring’s hottest fashions and styles work the very best for you!We’re not talking sailor stripes this season, we’re talking bold, wide Beetlejuice stripes. So, here’s the rule of thumb. Horizontal stripes make you look wider that you are; vertical stripes make you look slimmer. If you’re a rectangle body shape go for the vertical wide stripe skinny leg pant. They’re fabulous! This season’s bouquets are best for curvy and pear-shaped body types. If you’re full on top, best to wear a darker color, and the same is true if you’re full on the bottom or in the middle. For the most part, if you must, stick with white pants, make sure they fit well, aren’t see-through and if you’re a pear-shape then wear either a tunic top or a long open cardigan.
