Designed with her dare to be different mantra in mind, Vivienne Kelly jewelry boasts more than just statement pieces.
NYC-based designer Kelly Brett graduated from Spelman College, before attending Parsons School of Design in Paris. Vivienne Kelly (VK), her latest accessory line features intricate hand painted pieces of wood mixed with elegant touches of metal. Before branching out as an independent designer, she began her career in fashion at Ralph Lauren where she gained the expertise to lead in the industry as creative yet classy innovator.
Inspired by Kelly herself, the VK woman is fierce, independent and defines her own style. Her passion to create unique hand painted pieces using a variety of techniques such as paint splatter, color blocking and graffiti prints stems from her core belief of daring to be different. Visionaries such as Antonio Gaudi, who she was exposed to while living in Barcelona left a profound impact on the spirit of her work. Through her leadership, VK continues to expand and not only offer custom one-of-a kind pieces, but also put forth designs that reflect the elegance, beauty and complexity she envisions accessorizing today’s modern woman.
