The very expected Cinema Against Aids Gala was once again this year a great success, which brought together A-listers from the whole world, and succeeded at raising 25 million dollars to the fundation. Amfar has been contributing in fighting HIV and researching a cure for the past 20 years, and this year’s financial record will enable the organization to keep on going even further in the accomplishment of their highly important goal.
The auction and fashion show curated by former French Vogue Editor-In-Chief Carine Roitfeld featured as the highlights of this glamorous evening, and enable to raise millions, thanks to the generosity of the buyers, among which some bought a $1,5 million trip to space in company of Leonardo DiCaprio, a private performance by legendary rock icons Durant Duran, as well as “The Ultimate Gold” collection that was sold for a total of $1,5 million.
