The Glamorous Women: GLAMOUR Women of the Year Awards 2013
GLAMOUR Women of the Year Awards: a celebration annually held to honor inspiring and empowering women. This year, the event was held at Berkeley Square Gardens in London on Tuesday evening. The attendees of the ceremony varied from designers such as Victoria Beckham to socialite Pixie Gedolf. There were also some male guests accompanying the women in attendance such as Victoria Beckham’s 14-year-old son Brooklyn and Samantha Barks’ new beau David Gandy.
The ceremony’s highlight was filled with awards in various categories such as GLAMOUR AWARD for Solo Artist, Film Maker, Radio Personality, and Entrepreneur. Rita Ora bagged the award for Solo Artist, presented by ‘wifey’ Cara Delevigne. Rebel Wilson won the Film Actress award, presented by GLAMOUR favourite Kylie Minogue. For the Editor’s Special Award, presented by none other than GLAMOUR editor Jo Elvin, it was Jessie J who took home the prize. While the ceremony was made to honor inspiring women, GLAMOUR had one special award for a male—GLAMOUR Man of the Year Award—which was handed to Daniel Radcliffe by Juno Temple. Last but not the least, the Woman of the Decade Award—presented by the iconic Christopher Bailey of Burberry—was given to Victoria Beckham.
