The Design Museum London and Christian Louboutin have curated an exhibition presenting and celebrating the iconic designer’s twenty years of design. The exhibition is set to reveal the inspiration and artistry of his shoe designs from studded sneakers, lace-up boots, bejeweled pumps and his infamous stilettos known around the world. The exhibition explores Christian Louboutin’s career from his childhood in Paris to his first job at the Folies Bergères, and his most iconic creations including sketches and personal artifacts for a thorough experience.
With over 250 shoes on display at the exhibition, fans first hand have the opportunity to step onto Christian’s design lair at the exhibition. The exhibition was first revealed in London, England, and has since then selected Toronto to be the North American debut for this highly anticipated exhibition.
Christian Louboutin at the Design Exchange will be in Toronto from June 21 to September 15, 2013.
