Maternity Style: Kate Middleton – Duchess of Cambridge
Already a style icon before her marriage to Prince William, all eyes were on Kate Middleton as she took on royal maternity style. From barely there baby bump to 35-week-old bump, Catherine failed to disappoint with her impeccable and effortless style. Regardless of whether the Duchess was attending a royal affair or just out shopping, she showed no signs of giving in to sloppy maternity dressing and kept her look polished. Catherine’s maternity choices include a now famous Topshop polka dot dress, MaxMara coat, and a beautiful green Alexander McQueen (of course!) dress. With the Duchess out of public eye in preparation for labour, it’s safe to say that this ever-tasteful mom-to-be has one of the best dressed baby bumps of all time. Take a look at some of Catherine’s best dressed moments during her nine months of pregnancy.
19 weeks: With a barely there bump, Catherine chose a figure-hugging MaxMara wrap dress to emphasize her growing belly.
28 weeks: The Duchess stepped out in a Topshop polka dot dress and Ralph Lauren jacket for yet another royal affair. Catherine looked blooming and proved that she was a pro at mixing designer with high street.
30 weeks: Catherine looked lovely in pastel on her second wedding anniversary with Prince William. The Duchess showed her love for solid colors donned in this spring-appropriate ensemble.
33 weeks: Attending the Queen’s Coronation, Catherine opted for a head-to-toe nude look that distinctly showed her polished and effortless style. Her Jenny Packham look was figure-flattering and spot-on with the monochrome trend.
35 weeks: The Duchess looked stunning in a Dalmatian-print coat from Hobbs. This ensemble is the epitome of elegance and would look great over a baby bump or a flat stomach.
35 weeks: During her last public appearance, Catherine looked pretty in pink. This preppy outfit was a great way to make a royal exit and the perfect end to Catherine’s maternity style diary.
