Whether you’re styling your hair for a wedding or special event, romantic hair is easier to create than you might think. This beauty guide shares tips showing you how to create romantic hair in a few easy steps. How To Create Romantic Hair in 3 Easy Steps 1. Romantic hair should have controlled volume, giving it added oomph and sex appeal. Before blow-drying your hair, apply a thickening spray to your damp roots. This will help add volume to your hair, preparing it for additional styling. Focus on drying the roots thoroughly before drying the rest of your hair. 2. When your hair is fully dry, part your hair in 6 even sections, clipping each section of hair with a styling clip. Starting with the undermost layer of hair, use a 1 1/2″ curling iron to curl 2″ sections of hair. It helps to use a ceramic barrel curling iron, which smooths the cuticle making your hair look shiny and healthy. To create spiral curls, on a vertical angle (meaning the curling iron is parallel to your head in an upward direction), starting with the ends, wind up your hair in the curling iron for about 15 seconds. The hair should feel warm to the touch, without getting singed or too hot. After you unwind each section, lightly spray the section with hairspray. HOT TIP: The key to creating romantic hair is to use a hairspray (like L’Oreal Elnett) that provides long-lasting hold, without feeling sticky or stiff. 3. Continue with this technique until each section is curled. Curl the crown (top) of your hair last. Let your hair cool for about 1-2 minutes before gently running your finger through each section to loosen the curl. This gives it a more tousled, relaxed look. In just a few easy steps, you’ve created romantic hair that looks soft and feminine from day-to-night. Leave a Reply Cancel Reply You must be logged in to post a comment.
