In honor of their 100th anniversary in America, Salvatore Ferragamo sponsored the Wallis Annenberg Center for Performing Arts inaugural gala to launch a new Los Angeles inspired luxury line, along with an innovated pop-up boutique shop within the center’s Grand Hall. The gala was a red carpet, star-studded celebration of the brand’s founding with special appearances by Gwen Stefani, Alessandra Ambrioso, Nicole Richie and Rachel Zoe.
“The inaugural gala of The Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts celebrates all of my passions—art, architecture, and fashion—in a city that I really love. I’m also looking forward to dressing some of today’s most iconic celebrities and presenting the collection to such an important audience,” said creative director, Massimiliano Giornetti.
This fresh, new, and exciting product line consists of exclusive accessories, handbags, shoes and apparel designed by the creative director himself.
The product traces back to several of Salvatore’s greatest designs including the iconic invisible wedge, hybrid silk sandals, and woven calfskin heels, reimagined by Giornetti’s modern approach to design with evolved details including lucite heels, handwoven lambskin, and exotic combinations of snake and suede or lizard and high-tech mesh.
The pop-up shop was created to cater to a digital savvy era, but particularly Los Angeles locals who enjoy the Hollywood scene.
As of October 18th the shop is open to the public and is also available digitally on Hollywood.ferragamo.com
